The application of the Electronic Travel Permit System (K-ETA) will be temporarily exempted for the following 22 countries and regions from April 1, 2023 to December 31, 2024.
List of the countres and resions : Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Taiwan, Denmark, Germany, Macau, USA (including Guam), Belgium, Sweden, Spain, Singapore, UK, Austria, Italy, Japan, Canada, Poland, France, Finland, Australia, Hong Kong K-ETA must be applied at least 72 hours before departure to Korea.

- The obligation to submit a pre-entry inspection (PCR, RAT) and a negative confirmation letter conducted on all inbound travelers was suspended from midnight on September 3, 22, based on the arrival (entry) time in Korea. - The PCR inspection obligation on the first day after entering the country (until the day after entering the country) was suspended from 0 a.m. on 22.10.1, based on the arrival (entry) time in Korea.
Register Q-CODE (recommendation)

※ However, non-registered Q-ODE users will need more time to check documents when entering the country, and they will also have to fill out health status questionnaires and special quarantine reports distributed separately by the airline on board. Can I enter the country without using the Q-code system?
The Q-ode system is a support program designed to provide rapid quarantine services to Korean entrants, so immigration screening is conducted separately by immigration officials. However, it may take a lot of time to quarantine documents when entering the country, and you must fill out a health status questionnaire distributed by the airline separately. For quick quarantine inspection, please enter the information into the Q-code system before boarding the aircraft and completing the QR code issuance.
Can I print out the QR code issued when I complete the Q-code entry and submit it when I enter the country?
After arriving in Korea, you can present the QR code stored on your mobile phone or the QR code printed on paper to the quarantine management official for a quick quarantine investigation.
